The Test Facility of Intox with a floor area of 40,000 sft is located on its 100,000 sft premises.

Experimental Animal Facilities
The two vivariums of Intox are catered with a double corridor system, 51 animal rooms including a dedicated SPF facility of 25 rooms with controlled HVAC and barrier/ support areas such as change rooms, quarantine rooms, air locks, air showers, feed - bedding stores, washing and sterilization areas.

Since 2020, deployed Provantis Preclinical Software Solution (a laboratory information management system - LIMS)  to improve the study turnaround times and to further increase the Sponsor confidence in data integrity. Provantis was selected following a detailed competitive evaluation and replaces existing manual processes at INTOX, 
The norms of use and care of laboratory animals at Intox comply with the national and international standards. 

Institutional Animal Ethics Committee of Intox ensures humane and justified use of animals for research. Intox has been duly registered with CPCSEA - Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals, under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, vide 6/PO/RcBi/S/99/CPCSEA (for Research for Commercial Purpose and Breeding for in-house use of small animals) and strictly complies with the CPCSEA guidelines for animal welfare. AAALAC accreditation of Intox facility is expected to be completed in year 2022. 

The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBSC) of Intox has been duly constituted under RCGM - Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and ensures that the laboratory standard operating procedures and the study protocols are compliant with safe practices and comply with the norms laid down by the regulatory agencies.
